Dr. Akkari understands that every patient’s dental journey is different. Her goal is to listen carefully, answer questions thoroughly, and guide patients toward solutions that help them achieve healthier, more confident smiles. She believes dentistry is about more than treating teeth—it’s about building trust, educating patients, and helping people feel comfortable and cared for at every visit.

Training, Degrees, and Advanced Education
A native Austinite, Dr. Akkari is proud to serve the community she has always called home. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, where she received additional training in comprehensive patient care and advanced treatment planning.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Akkari enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying connected to the Austin community she loves.
